The Combo Ticket, valid for one week from the date of purchase, includes both sites:

Are there any special discounts available?
Yes! We offer the Blue Star Museum program, which provides free admission for active armed
forces and their families (up to 5 members) from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can find
other participating museums at arts.gov/initiatives/blue-star-museums.

Where do I enter the museum? Where can I get Tickets?
Where is the main entrance?
The main entrance to the Sumter Museum is through the Williams Brice House, located at 122
N. Washington Street, Sumter, SC 29150. The historic home faces the hospital.
What if I only wish to visit the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center?
For those that only wish to visit the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center, the entrance is at 11
Church Street, Sumter, SC 29150, with the entrance facing the street.
Where do I purchase admission?
Admission tickets can be purchased for all sites at both the Sumter Museum Main Entrance
(Williams Brice House) or at the Temple Sinai Jewish History Center
Where are the restrooms?
Where can I find restrooms at the museum?
Public restrooms are located in the Heritage Education Building. After exiting the Williams Brice
House, proceed into the Martha Brice Gardens. The white and brick building will be on your left.
Enter through the glass foyer of the Heritage Education Building.

notifications about upcoming events. Museum members are eligible for discounted event pricing.
Are there any recurring events I should know about?
Yes, we host Backcountry Days on the second Saturdays of May, October, and December.
Backcountry Springtime: May 10, 10 AM-3 PM
Backcountry Harvest: October 11, 10 AM – 3 PM
Backcountry Christmas: December 13, 10 AM – 3 PM

Can you tell me more about your new building project?
We are expanding with a new facility that will permanently house Sammy Way’s military
collection, along with local history exhibits and improved collections storage. The building will
feature a WWI bi-plane (a Bristol) in the military gallery.

There are several ways to support us: • Presenting Sponsors: Available for specific sections within the new building, ranging from $10,000 to $500,000.
Buy a Brick Campaign:
Individuals/Families/Nonprofits: $200 for 4×8 size
Corporations: $500 for 8×8 size
General or Monthly Donations:
Donations can be made on our website at SumterMuseum.org. You can set up recurring monthly donations starting at $5.
