Forest To Furniture Grand Opening & Reception

The grand opening and reception for of the “Forest To Furniture” exhibit has been rescheduled to next Thursday, January 30th, at 6:00 PM.

This exhibit examines the hidden-in-plain sight stories of furniture and other wood products manufactured in the Palmetto State, particularly in Sumter with companies like Williams Furniture. “Forest to Furniture” raises important questions about the history of industry, labor, design, and the environment, and is part of USC’s ongoing Wood Basket project.
