Sumter Museum is excited to announce the official launch of its capital fundraising campaign, “Build a Home for History – Where Sumter’s Past and Future Meet.” This dynamic campaign invites local stakeholders and the entire community to play an integral role in preserving Sumter’s rich history by creating a dedicated space where the stories, artifacts, and people of Sumter’s past can find a permanent and fitting home. The “Build a Home for History” campaign is not merely about constructing a building; it is about constructing a strong and lasting home for Sumter’s history. It represents the Sumter Museum’s unwavering commitment to keep the history of Sumter vibrant, accessible, and relevant to future generations.
